My story:
I don’t think you can truly appreciate someone's work unless you know what brought them to this present moment….
Working for a successful company in the financial industry for nearly 10 years, I experienced first-hand the dysfunction that people have around money. As I became increasingly disillusioned with traditional money management and life as a financial planner, I edged up against total burnout. Something had to give and I had my first “rock bottom” experience.
Rock bottoms get a bad rap, but they can be potent crucibles of change. This was the initiation of my spiritual awakening. I began implementing energetic and contemplative practices that opened up a whole new arena of possibility for me. With the help of books, programs and a few key mentors, I honed my gifts as an intuitive while still working a day job at that financial firm.
My intuitive abilities were put to the greatest test of all after the birth of my son brought chronic postpartum health complications. The more I searched outside of myself for answers to my health issues, the harder I worked, and the more I tried to control, the sicker I became...
To truly heal, I had to let it all go: the money, the dream job, the control, the coaches and mentors, and even the functional doctors I had placed my trust in.
It was terrifying. And it blasted open my heart and soul to the endless power and possibilities available to us.
From those ashes, outside of traditional models or ideas of what is possible, I built a six figure aligned business on my own terms within one year. I threw every rule out of the window, questioned every old-paradigm idea of what life should look like, and reevaluated every modern workflow standard.
